Lesson planning is at the heart of being an effective teacher. There are a number of benefits to writing a lesson plan. First, lesson planning produces more unified lessons (Jensen, 2001). It gives teachers the opportunity to think deliberately about their choice of lesson objectives, the types of activities that will meet these objectives, the sequence of those activities, the materials needed, how long each activity might take, and how students should be grouped. Technology is a boon for teachers to plan and deliver lessons. In this module student, teachers will learn about different modes and steps for digital lesson planning. They will also learn the different modes and platforms of e-learning.
As teaching is basically communication. There are many ICT tools available that enhance communication with students, teachers, parents, resource persons. as a future teacher student-teachers should know different digital tools and modes which they can use for communication.

Just as assessment helps students, the assessment helps teachers. the assessment helps teachers to see if their teaching has been effective. Technology helps teachers to take assessments more effectively. ICT helps teachers in summative and formative assessments.
